The image, ‘Fearless Vision’, is a portrait depicting the 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro. The artist was inspired by Barbaro’s fearless fighting spirit, and our vision of hope to create a better understanding of Laminitis through further research. The reflection in Barbaro’s eye is suggestive of a memory of one
of the greatest days in the history of thoroughbred racing.
